There's a German bird called Tanja Askani who takes the most fabulous wildlife photos - this one is one of my favourites (because, filthy-minded people, I've had a soft-spot for owls for many years, dammit!)
You can see the rest of her pictures over
here
Looks like the IMG doesn't work -
here's the link to the pik

Caution:
That link in
EB's post will delay your timeplan by at least one hour!
A partial overlordish cuteness-alert should be added.

For some reason it reminds me of a Blackfield cover:-

Love every picture on this page - especially
Carpy's portraits and Libby's Notre Dame photos. Gargoyles rule!
I tried to take one today, but it went a bit weird 'cos of some crazy bright sunlight flaring in one side of the picture. Still, I think it's quite atmospheric (and, in a rare departure for me, goff as f**k
).

Oh yes, love the last one. After the aforementioned bridges,
angels are fast becoming my second fetish (and were my main prey when I went up the Necropolis yesterday).
One from the back-catalogue, and a couple taken yesterday:
And another - not an angel, but really pleased with how this turned out (no photoshoppery involved, but I had played around with the camera's light settings):
