Glad so many of you will turn up in Leeds! On the 17th (2nd Leeds date) Eggi and I celebrate 2x 150th gig, and it wouldn't be much fun getting drunk on our own... ;D

Looks like we might get a bit damp on thursday, but it isn't going to be too wintery in Leeds.

I'll try to get down on Thursday night for a Lemonade or Two.
@weebles, got your TXT last night :notworthy: , thanks a Million but I can't stay as Mags needs the car in the morning for the school run.
I don't have a ticket for the gig as I vowed never to spend money to see the utter shite that masquerade's as a "SISTERS" gig theses days  & have no intention on going back on my promise to myself, so unless Ghost Dance, Salvation, James Ray or ATOMIC KITTEN are supporting................or I get a ticket for free :innocent: I'll not be at the gig.
Look forward to seeing some old & some new faces

Probably not. This all sounds a bit too familiar when it comes to news from the Sisters camp. But wonders do happen (or so I hope).

Oh man, I can't come now :( So gutted. Anyway I have a ticket for sale if anyone's interested, just PM me.

I booked a room at the Vicar Lane Travelodge too but don't get a refund if I cancel, doesn't look as if it's transferable either unless anyone knows of a way of working it.

So I arrived in London and the customs gent says "Reason for traveling to the UK?" I say "I'm on holiday" he says "Cities visiting while here?" I say "London and Leeds" He says "Why on earth would you go to Leeds?" I say "Is it really that bad?" He says "I cant think of a single reason why I would ever go to Leeds"
What have I got myself into?

Ah I think you've discovered the famous English North South divide! ;D Always preferred the North meself, even if I am a Chelsea fan. Well, apart from Batley. ;D

You've got yourself into nothing at all - just in line for a good time up here.

What a tosser (the customs bloke - not not you).

Agreed. I'm a Midlander - and I love Leeds (just not the football team :innocent: ). :)

I'm a Southerner and I like Leeds.

The customs guy has probably never ventured north of Watford...

He just tried to be funny. Whenever I go see my friends in Nottingham, and I get on the train in London, people would say things like "Why would you want to go there? It's the no. 1 gun crime capital of the world!" and things like that.
Besides, everyone knows Leeds is home of indie bands and football. So he was clearly joking.

Sorry to hear Dom Conway!
Doesn't the travelodge website say you can cancel reservations? Or if you talk to them on the phone? There is an immense lot of Heartlanders staying there, so we're a good customer so to say. Don't you think chances are they might be nice?
Good Luck!
