- This isn't a poster genuinely advertising the gig though, is it ? It looks like one of those posters that the guys who used to go round the universities selling posters in the 80s had. There were postcard versions as well. I always assumed they were created for that purpose and had no connection to the bands/gigs they advertised, like bootleg t-shirts.

I'm not really sure (as it's such a long time ago), but I don't remember having seen such posters at the venue (RAH) itself. However, the postcards with the same motif were circulated at the time and quite common...
