not sure exactly what's going on but i would imagine that claire would be DJing after the bands finish, either in the main concert hall or in another room within the met building.

the etap down at the bottom end of town, near kirkgate and the (rather nice) palace pub?

we've stayed there. it's not exactly the hilton but it's not bad for what it is.

its a bit of a trek to the venue though...

best bet is straight along the bottom of the bus station and then all the way up eastgate & the headrow (past crash records!) up to the st john centre, then turn right at the halifax and straight up to woodhouse lane

What have I got myself into?
He just tried to be funny. Whenever I go see my friends in Nottingham, and I get on the train in London, people would say things like "Why would you want to go there? It's the no. 1 gun crime capital of the world!" and things like that.
Besides, everyone knows Leeds is home of indie bands and football. So he was clearly joking.
I've been going to Nottingham city centre at least every other weekend for the last 25 years and noone's ever shot at me,but I am of course aware of it's reputation. As to Leeds,I really like the place,it's much better than that grim tosshole that is Sheffield!

i guess Eldritch just wants to get wasted with Lemmy. even that sole reason must be enough for Von to do this festival

Anyone else travelling down from Glasgow for the Thursday night gig?

Where's everyone meeting? Seems to be the "dry dock" from previous posts, that correct?

Ta,
Scott

Any rumours of stage time yet? My guess is 9:30-10ish, play for 90 mins?

I think it depends on how you booked. From memory, their supersaver deals (or whatever they call the really cheap ones that can only be booked online) are non-refundable.
