Currently listening to. The expanded remastered box set.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

After listening to Thirty Thousand Feet Over China yesterday...
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

After poo-pooing this album when it came out as not up to John McGeoch's god like standards...I actually really enjoyed most it this morning.

Yeah, Mayhem was stunning indeed! I really dig that filthy sound and bought this cd at the metal market on Sunday together with Napalm Death's Death By Manipulation and a Karma To Burn cd who also were on a bloody good roll! Have you seen them (only 2 this time) fire riff after riff after riff?!

Best day was Friday with Mayhem, Prong, Soulfly & Twisted Sister in the pouring rain... I've never seen that many full concerts in one day at GMM before
Saturday I didn't really see many things. Between The Buried And Me of course, but also Aura Noir which were pretty good. Lock Up & Agnostic Front were okay for a little while... I missed Absu btw :|
Sunday Karma To Burn were excellent, Ghost abysmal and Maiden was big fun (they played Wasted Years :D ).
Both Testament & Kreator I've seen parts of their show and both were on a roll too, but by that time of night I really had my share of the metal blitz!
Good year, good festival, next year oepternief ;D

I adore the Longfolk record. I've got a live James Ray record as well that absolutely slays me.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
