Actually, I'm just watching a chav in a blue peugot wrap his car's back end around a conifer tree! He's ok by the way, but I heard this motor scoot along our road, then a squeal of tyres and BANG. His baseball cap's getting a bit damp in all the rain but lots of people are stopping to ask him how he is, so I'll not bother getting dressed - I'll send Gaz out.
From my vantage point I reckon he tried to turn right at a daft speed.

he's also wearing a Stone Island jumper. And it looks like he's been shopping at Iceland for his mum. Which backs up my theory that he was trying to turn right.
Move over Miss Marple there's a new girl in town
Can't wait for the 'across the road neighbour' to come home - he spends hours with the hedge clippers on those blimmin' conifers.
UPDATE
Man across the road has returned, they have had to cut the car out of conifer tree (with his favourite hedge trimmers - he has several sets - a small gorse bush has had to give up its life. Blue Pug has now disappeared - normality and humdrum returns to sleepy Lincoln.
Bertie Wooster awaits

I just recently saw My Blueberry Nights by Kar-Wai and have to say, not as impressive as his others, but still quite liked it. Very arty, totally his style.

To my knowledge it was the first I saw of him, brilliant stuff it was! I ought to dig deeper!elevation wrote:YES!Obviousman wrote:

I didn't like this one bit, I was mostly lost. My friend fell asleep and I think me and my other friend were just too exhausted after a long day at work to stay there and be able to grasp any meaning this film was carrying.Izzy HaveMercy wrote:The Men Who Stare At Goats.
He is quite brilliant. You should see 2046 and also In the Mood for Love. I don't know how much you are a fan of romance/dramas, though, he's going mostly in that style (but I love his visual style, brilliant cinematography all the way).Obviousman wrote:To my knowledge it was the first I saw of him, brilliant stuff it was! Law & Order series 1 and the final season with a smattering of season 3, the golden period with Lenny Briscoe.
Play Dead ~ Into the Fire: quality, real quality musically and visually (thanks Mr. L)
Roger Waters ~ In the Flesh, I needed a change from all the David Gilmour stuff, good as it is. Ace version of 'Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun'.
Come Dine with MILF ~ a channel 4 'real life' thing, I only watch it to check out the recipes... and MILFs
New Classic Amerikan sitcoms on Sky1 HD:
Modern Family
Raising Hope
The Middle
we only have things like the above because of the brave 'Malcolm in the Middle'
