A friend of mine is exhibiting some photies in September, so anyone in the London area (or anyone interested TBH)
Dear all,
I have the pleasure of inviting you to the SKIP INTRO exhibition, which will take place at P3, 35 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LS (Baker Street tube station). The show will run from the 4th until the 9th September 2008 with the private view on the 4th September from 6pm.
My work entitled 'things not random', which was a runner up in last year's Young Shots Photographers competition will be exhibited there.
The show is independently curated by Elizabeth Upper and includes the works of fifteen artists representing culturally diverse backgrounds (we come from ten different countries). Many of the exhibiting photographers have been shown and published both in the UK and abroad.
Free drinks and snacks will also be provided at the private view.
Kind regards,
Ilona Jurgiel

Nice one
I always wonder, how do people end up in these competitions and all, and most of all: should I give one a try myself?

Go for it mr. Obviousman! Give it a try and see what happens. You have enough unique shots.
Just do it!

I will, if I find one that is... And if I can decide which photos I'd like to go in!
Last polaroid for some time, no Polaroid Image film available in town, need to get an SX70 if I want to do Polaroids again
First time I've ever seen one of these out in the wild, btw!

Thank you. 'Heaven Up Here' was what I was thinking when I took the shot.
Ahh, I have just realised, the little chap on the right of the pic looks like an alien hence Close Encounters
