:D WOW!
Looks like heartland are filling the annual visitor quota for Leeds in a couple of days. I think that dock will be dry after this :notworthy:

Loud shirt or not I'm looking forward to meeting up on Thursday, yahoo!

we've stayed there. it's not exactly the hilton but it's not bad for what it is.

its a bit of a trek to the venue though...

best bet is straight along the bottom of the bus station and then all the way up eastgate & the headrow (past crash records!) up to the st john centre, then turn right at the halifax and straight up to woodhouse lane
Aah cool..Am staying at the Etap too as it was cheap and I'm not planning to spend a great deal of time there! Are taxi's to/from the venue gonna hurt much?
i doubt it - i'd be very surprised if they were more than £5 each way :)
aah cheers fer that :) More money for booze and merchandise 8)

Do we have a time for Dry Dock? I probably won't get home from work 'til 6, then I need to eat and get changed...

SFraser and I were wee* goffs back in the day, apart from briefly bumping into him a decade ago I've not seen him since the early nineties. Looking forward to catching up with him on Thursday.

I second your love of this place.

Think I'm gonna have to pull out. I just bought my ticket in January and since then my bank has screwed up hugely in sending me a replacement card that I'd requested, meaning that I couldn't book travel or accommodation until it arrived. It still hasn't so I decided to try and book with a credit card but, as expected this late in the day, the cost is too much to be viable.

I guess that means there's a ticket up for grabs for Thursday but unless you can collect it yourself or want to pay for next day delivery it probably wouldn't get to you in time.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.
