It’s the holidays so I take a break from the stuff I read for work. At the moment it’s Nomeansno - From Obscurity to Oblivion: An Oral History.
Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

a little bit sad really as i now own all of Iain M banks Culture novels and due to him being deader than a Norweigian Blue (beautifuol plumage) there aint gonna be no more. re-reading them all now, in the correct order of publication for the first time. RIP Sir!

This thread shouldn't be dead so I'll allow myself a little contribution here as I come back home from a library with a pile of books, on a regular basis.
Ali Smith, because she's one of the wittiest modern writers (so many literary & art references, the subtlety yet crispness of images).
And of course, why not some TS Eliot.

Finished my epic re-read of Iain M Banks Culture series (in publication order this time) and moved onto his other Sci-fi novels, currently 'The Algebraist'. and as i (usually) have a factual book on the go at the same time i am reading 'One Day In September', the story of the 1972 Munich Olympics assassination of 11 Israeli athletes by The Black September Organisation.
