GAME OF THRONES! GAME OF THRONES! GAME OF THRONES!
Best bit of dialogue.
Sansa: What do dragons eat anyway?
Dany: Whatever they want.

I sat there from 3am local time -the time it finished in the states EST- with my browser on a pirate bay search page full of seedless GOT S08E01's; refreshing it every few seconds (like in the big bang theory when theyre buying tickets for comicon lol) until one of them went live. well worth the wait except i want MORE!

Yesterday, 'bout 95% of this movie
I really like that they focused on engineering side of story, no mater if or how close to reality it is. Other than this, good acting of Matt D.

The season 2 finale was absolutely epic

It is resoundingly "meh," in my opinion. That's not to say we didn't enjoy it, but it was just alright.Zacharias wrote:Starting to find the series just to be boring to be honest. Anyone else felt the same way? Is it worth it powering through?

Took my time but it was well worth it.
Steve brings a whole new meaning to the term ambulance chaser doesn't he?
& how did Karim's zippo never run out of petrol?

More to the point, how does it keep working after it's been submerged in water? Mine never did.Pista wrote:& how did Karim's zippo never run out of petrol?
Perhaps we should have a whip-round and buy him a maglite!

I managed to drop my Zippo in a pint once (don't ask) and it worked fine afterwards. They're meant to be water-resistant aren't they?EvilBastard wrote:More to the point, how does it keep working after it's been submerged in water? Windproof certainly. Perhaps even weather proof. Underwater swim proof? Not so sure.markfiend wrote: I managed to drop my Zippo in a pint once (don't ask) and it worked fine afterwards. They're meant to be water-resistant aren't they?
Did your pint have a slightly petrolly tang to it afterwards?

It's possible that snakebite n'black is actually improved by the addition of a little lighter fluid...Pista wrote:Windproof certainly. Perhaps even weather proof. Underwater swim proof? Scientifically-speaking, since lighter fluid is "lighter" than water, if you submerge your Zippo for long enough then the fluid will float off the wick and out of the wadding. The only remedy I found was to take everything apart and leave it to dry in front of the gas fire for a day or so. Then rebuild, refill, and everything worked again.

Re zippos: (i used to make/assemble them) they are as water-resistrant as the newness of the wheel and the flint allows. the flint dries quite quickly and petrol doesnt mix with water

If Billy Howle doesn't win an award for this, then there is no justice in the world.
