This is the theme of David Cummings' half-hour comedy thriller (part of the new BBC Choice series Spine Chillers) called simply Goths. Cummings, who says he was never a goth himself ("I was a punk rocker"- that's what they all say, Dave), rightly realised that there is something inherently funny about a youth cult whose acolytes venerate the likes of Charles Manson and the Marquis de Sade then travel home on the top deck of a number 73 bus.

now i know why i can't drink milk

not touched a drop of the goddam stuff, black, white or any colour, in nearly 3 years
