Farewell to The Land of Lard

or at least that half of it...

i've been keeping this low-key for a good few weeks now, just in case i jinx or something  but as we've been to the solicitors this morning and its all good in the hood, i guess its about time i make an announcement :D :innocent:

i've sold my house in leeds and jo and myself have bought an apartment together in central manchester :!: 8) :D

our new apartment is a modern 2-bed loft-style conversion in a renovated mill (listed building no less!) - for those that know manchester well, its on princess street - opposite "5th avenue" nightclub (aka "legends") - the building is called asia house.

its very central and only 2 minutes walk from piccadilly train station, and is quite quite fabulous. ;D

i shall continue working in leeds and will commute - the journey is approx 55 mins on the train, and its a decent service with nice, regular trains...

we get the keys on friday :D

i'm looking forward to it immensely!

as i shall still be working in leeds, and have a number of friends in and around the city, i shall continue to have ties here, and indeed the city shall remain heartland's spiritual home 8) :von:

ps. anyone sending me anything in the post (CDs, DVDs, heartland donations, cheques, etc etc) should either contact me via PM for my new address (preferred) or send it to me via the 48 Crash PO box address and i will get it forwarded on from there... :innocent:

pps. massive thanks to lars for the help on saturday with van hire, driving etc while i got stuff into storage! we couldnt have done it without you :notworthy: :von: :notworthy: :von:

Best of luck to you both!

You'll be painting the interior in various shades of schwarz, I presume...? :innocent:

Eh? Doesn't the viewing of pigment require light?

So long as you're going tr00 g0ff, all you need is blackout curtains. But keep them away from the scented candles...

Incidentally, this is not my outlook on interior design, honest ;D
