I've been away with the fairies the past week and only found this out tonight. I was fortunate to meet him twice. Once at a travel industry five-a-side footie match in Spain ten years ago and even at the age of 49 he made me look stupid on the pitch. And once approx five years later when he was doing his meeting and greeting for corporate hospitality at Chelsea.

I know he had an issue with Batesy and they never got on but Peter Osgood was a nice man. And a God and a True Blue.

Jeez, to attend a family funeral and drop dead.

Aye, one of the Chelsea/England greats, I remember him when I realised England had a League ( I was just a kid ), Football could do with his likes today.
