I know he was old - hell he was old in Magical Mystery Tour, but I'm still very sad about this...

Libs, the man was indeed a genius. I think he knew he was dying though.
BBC4 screened: Ivor Cutler - A Life
and
Cutler's Last Stand - a farewell concert from the RFH, last year
I have them on tape.
I also reckon he went with 'crinkley slipperette's into that....
