Did Jaz get really peeved that I refused to sit on bars for the whole tour and he called it all off? :?

eggsakkerly - which is why I hadn't bought tickets yet...which MAY be why the tour was pulled due to poor ticket sales...There's a fair few peed of Americans who have got flights and nowhere to go....

Most odd. Wonder what's happening. :? Where's the news of this? I checked the official site and the messageboard is indeed down.
I'm hoping there will be gigs later in the year when I may be able to afford it.

Maybe Jaz went on yet another spiritual trip to some isolated Pacific island.
Anyway, a friend of mine just tried to get a ticket for a KJ / Alec Empire show. He was told that there would be no KJ, only A. Empire and some other act.

I think Jaz was told to rest a short while ago and at least one show was cancelled. Maybe that's it.

Dunno why the Joke bother arraning gigs.... how many dates were cancelled last year due to Jaz's "vocal problems"...? I seem to remember that there was a lot of suspicion back then that it was more likley to do with ticket sales...

Well apparently....the tour IS going ahead...but without Raven

Let's give it a week before I post that it isn't going ahead again :D :D :D

I know Jaz has been joking about fights in the band. Anyone know who'll be playing bass instead?

Aye, it'll be interesting to see where our priorities lie....you heard the rumour about Youth? I hope it's just idle banter otherwise I'd SERIOUSLY be in a twizzle

Have seen nothing to suggest that Youth would be playing, where did you hear/see it?

He is of course the obvious replacement, but that don't mean nowt when the Joke are involved!

Can't believe that Raven seems to have put Ministry before the Joke, but there you go. This is what happens when a band member spreads himself too thinly.

Ach, there's all sorts of chinwagging where I get my info, mainly The Gathering and private emaily stuff from friends

This was from the official board (which also seems to be in a precarious position)

Killing Joke Reschedule UK tour - 24th March 2006

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Killing Joke have rescheduled their forthcoming UK tour. The tour, which was due to start on 2nd April in Cambridge, will now start on 29th April in Nottingham.

An official statement from the band says "Killing Joke would like to apologise to all gatherers for the rescheduling of the British tour to promote the glorious recording Hosannas From The Basements
Of Hell. This is unfortunately due to psychiatric problems within the band. We are now on fire and in anticipation of your presence.

Thank you for your love and support."

well.....there you go

Yup, had seen that on the KJ site - but thanks anyway!!! Did you see Raven's post on the board? It gets ever more cryptic, and I don't think it's JUST regarding the Ministry situation....

EDIT... oops, see what you mean about the board being a bit shaky.... was only on there last night, and didn't notice it!!! :(
