Just as I don't like Google mail as they apparently store every single mail you ever made for eternity?

i personally find yahoo! to be a far better search engine, especially for the images. and their mail service is superior to hotmail because you can actually access it -i get sick of waitng for everyone to be in bed before hotmail's server can handle the traffic.

the option to turn is on is very explicit about what it will do and why. they're really not trying to hide anything...
and as i say, its off by default anyway so its not really spyware because its not going to do anything unless you tell it to
