alrighty, im trying to use an avatar......icon really, its 100 by 100 pixels and 23.5 kb and it says its to big....help?

that's happened to me before. if it's off of the net try yahoo! or google image search for an identical picture that the db will accept.

Or resize it / resave it using photoshop (if you've got it). Or don't bother with any of that avatar nonsense and be alternative.

Oh yeah, excellent idea. Been down that route many a time, particularly with Gallery images.
