... like me has few questions regarding a future stay in your fair capital.
ok, I think I can figure out about some ridiculously expensive grubby hell-hole to stay myself but.... I would very much appreciate some Top Night Out recommendations from you friendly people. I obviously dont need anything to do on a tuesday
but I will stay up to Saturday. So anything to do in the evenings? Raunchy Rock hangouts? gay goth danceteria? Whatever!
Ta muchley.
P.S. No forward date offers please....

There's a pub in Covent Garden that sells beers from almost every country in the world. That should take you a few days to work your way through.
P.S: Aren't all dates after today in the future?

I hate to nit-pick, Si...
BUT.
Ireland (southern) isn't part of the United Kingdom (although it's part of the British Isles).
And I think Jersey, Guernsey and possibly also the Isle of Wight (though don't quote me on that) have their own capitals.

In reply to miss nit picker -
Ireland - I should have typed 'Eire'
Anyway, thank you for the 3 I missed
Oh christ I've forgotten about The Faroe Islands, The Scilly Isles, Orkney/Shetland/Inner-Outer Hebrides, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Bahamas
@ Badlander You're the only one who correctly guessed the extra capital

True. Didn't want to sound too pedantic.

there's nothing wrong with derailing into a slightly more intelligent direction than the initial post was meant to. ... so go ahead reminiscing about the glorious colonial days of the British Empire.
Anyone who actually has a recommendation for my stay in
London please pm me to not de-derail.

So how about e.g. Jamaica and Australia then? That lady appears still to be a queen down there too?

I was only talking about the United Kingdom, not the British Empire.
You people!
