Dates, places & venue matter not when it comes to the band responsible for the greatest gig I've ever witnessed.

Horrible images of Iggy dancing with a man in a squirrel suit. Not what I needed for breakfast.

It's going to be great! I've heard a rumour he's playing the 8th and the 10th.

Downside, over 18 only. I can't take the kids :(

Add me and my partner in crime Michie to the list (and maybe more..)

He's a huge Sonic Youth fan and I'd give my right arm to see Iggy perform in a bingo hall!

Minehead here we come!

Ole ole ole!

That's the spirit. This is gonna be ace.

Nearly Christmas, holiday camp, Iggy - I'm gonna be one mad mutha on the road to oblivion, be warned.

"If I had to pinpoint the one true meaning of rock and roll, it's on The Stooges "Fun House" album. It's the bit between "Loose" and "T.V Eye" where Iggy shouts "Lord" - you just know what's coming" - Frank Black of the Pixies.

I have to warn you guys, Minehead isn’t pretty. It’s a grotty little beach town with a skyline dominated by the butlins dome, where old people come to die.

But we do have two very good pubs: Queens Head Hotel and The Hairy Dog. And it is, obviously, worth coming here to see the legend that is Iggy Pop. :von:

I could be up for this "EVENT"

My EX is old friends with Iggy - I kid you not! - I am sure she will want to say Hello.

Plus Minehead is a simple hours drive away - which is nice :-)

recall that in 1991 the Sisters prefaced each gig i saw with, at mimimum, a full playthrough of Fun House. in DC, i think it was almost twice.

IGGY is 2/3 of SPIGGY. just keep that in mind. ;D :von:

Oh yes indeed.
My favourite ever album played live from start to finish. I even named my shop after it.
Seen Iggy loads of times without the Stooges. Seen the re-formed Stooges 3 times now with the Hammersmith show being the best. I was sort of trapped right at the front & just had to go along with whatever the rest of the audience were doing. Being that close to the power that is the Asheton brothers simply blew my ears off.

Also, Biggy is just like Iggy only bigger.
