Kinda-Techy Internet Question (.eu)

I'm thinking about getting myself a .eu domain name, because as of today everyone can apparently :D

Anybody got any tips on places to register for one, and what prices would they go for :?:

I don't really need webspace, for now I'd just use it as a link-through thingy, though if it doesn't cost a lot I might get some...

I bought a .co.uk address from www.1and1.co.uk for £1.99 a year. The .eu equivalent is £8.99 a year. :(
