we, that is the lovely jo and myself, have a bit of good news... ;)

as of friday evening we are engaged to be married, as i believe the expression goes :D

i asked her when we got back to the hotel after friday's gig, and she has done me the massive honour of accepting.

oh yes :o :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

i brought a ring to paris with me, with the intention of asking her at a point when it seemed appropriate... thanks to mrs snowey's "elizabeth duke" comments in the bar after the gig that moment came back at our hotel ;D  :notworthy:

thanks heather - you gave me an opening to pop the question!! ;)

so, there you go.

suffice to say we're both quite chuffed ;)

there are no further plans as yet - we're going to enjoy the theory of "getting married" before we actually begin the stressful task of planning it

but don't worry, we'll let you all know when we have something concrete planned. you're not invited, but you'll at least know about it ;)

and no, its not a shotgun wedding ;)

ever so slightly happy today... :D

Well done QB, I thought it was strange you shaving your half a beard off and the, what looked liked, small box in your pants.

Made up for the pair of you even tho Jo's to good for ya :innocent:

But don't rush into things, look at me and Heather, we have been engaged now for 15 years.    I would have got less for murder.
