paris is a terribly romantic city isn't it?

we, that is the lovely jo and myself, have a bit of good news...
as of friday evening we are engaged to be married, as i believe the expression goes
i asked her when we got back to the hotel after friday's gig, and she has done me the massive honour of accepting.
oh yes
i brought a ring to paris with me, with the intention of asking her at a point when it seemed appropriate... thanks to mrs snowey's "elizabeth duke" comments in the bar after the gig that moment came back at our hotel
thanks heather - you gave me an opening to pop the question!!
so, there you go.
suffice to say we're both quite chuffed
there are no further plans as yet - we're going to enjoy the theory of "getting married" before we actually begin the stressful task of planning it
but don't worry, we'll let you all know when we have something concrete planned. you're not invited, but you'll at least know about it
and no, its not a shotgun wedding
ever so slightly happy today...
