Congratulations Arsenal!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The Chelsea Boy in me grimaces when I have to make statements like that but credit where credit's due. They deserved it. Any Brit team who make a European final will always get my backing. 8)

Aye, a good game for the neutral, I never really rated Leighman(?) as a 'keeper but he was outstanding tonight.
All the best the goonars!!.

Here's hoping The Hearts wiil be there next year.

Lehman  was outstanding (nine CL games and over 11 hours without conceding a goal?)

As he's been named as the national first choice by Jurgen Klinsmann ahead of Oliver Kahn, it bodes well for the Teutonic Marching Men in the summer. :von:

No no no no no I hope Barcelona give them a real good stuffing 3 - 0 as a minimum, this would well and truly silence my 3 Gooner brother in laws and numerous friends and to complete a great season City will end their hopes of a top 4 finish with Spurs keeping that Champions League spot, I then stroll to the bookies and claim my winnings (the bet was Spurs Top 4)

Congratulations to the most french of the english teams ;)
We have so many players in Arsenal: Henry, Flamini, Pires, Clichy, Cygan, Diaby.
Not to forget the coach Wenger.
I really hope Arsenal will won the final in the Stade de France. Last saturday I was in this stadium and my club OGC Nice was defeated in the Cup League Final :(

They (arsewipe fc) deserve to be in the final, no doubt, if for their demolition of Madrid in the Bernabeu alone, but lets be right, Villareal are awful. Last nights match looked like a League One game (no offence, Colchester).

But stuff the Brit thing, they're as British as mouldy cheese fercrissake. Not that that matters. When my team are out of anything, I go for the team that deserves to win, so it's the smily goofy one and his 10 hangers on for me. Indeed, it probably was the minute The Shirts and Ajax were sent packing (were Ajax even in it this year?).
There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.

The smily goofy one is rather good though, the Henry gool is rather impressive too!

I'm really glad a UK-based team is through to the final I hesitate to say a British team since Arsenal are practically French - if Wenger could have his way I'm convinced he would replace every player with a French one - although of course many teams in the UK have far too many foreign players - Personally I believe there should be a rule to limit the number of non-nationals on the field to 3 at a time.

Last night's match was pretty crap, Arsenal reverting to type from other European campaigns where they would hold onto a 1-goal lead all the match and then let a goal in in the last few minutes and go onto lose. They were very lucky that penalty was saved indeed this time. I hope they are more attacking in the final.

I can't be bothered waiting for the download; is that the one where he scores from behind the goal? :notworthy:

I'm happy they made it too. I had £5 on at 8/1 that it'd be 0-0 last night!

The only way they can beat Barca though is by shooting Ronaldhino before kick-off.

I'm sorry. I wanted Villareal to win. I have a soft spot for another North London team and I'm usually with the under-dog. Apparently you could fit the population of Villareal in Highbury.
Hoping for a good final though.
