I'm listening to Alice as I type this - now that is beautiful but an Abba cover????? :|

Nothing against Abba but a Sisters version is wrong on so many levels.

What about Jolene or Bei Mir... then? ;)

Jolene is great and so is Confide In Me and Emma. 8) Hey, maybe I have double-standards? ;D

Do I detect sarcasm in this thread? ;D

Serious: I really do like this song. It's just kind of a joke and I think it's a nice one. I don't regard it as one of the best covers but it's a good listen every now and then.

Nothing to add

It isn't Emma, but still like it...

I'm not convinced............yet. :| I can see the funny side in Jolene and Confide but this seems like one joke too much.

Or am I just a miserable git? :P

The second option? :innocent:

How do you like "He's got the whole world in his hands" then?
Or: Sugar Baby Love (Rubettes)...

I'll keep an eye out then. I didn't even know Gimme Gimme Gimme existed until I downloaded it last night.

If it wasn't for Temple Of Love '92 I wouldn't be a fan right now and going to see them live next week. I shudder to think what life would be like without the Sisters. :notworthy:
I bought TOL '92 as I loved the song but knew nothing about the Sisters. I loved the other 3 tracks on the CD and thought well if I like these "B side" tracks then I'll probably like their other stuff. A couple of months later I passed my driving test and treated myself to Floodland and Vision Thing. 8)

You're improving... :notworthy:

I hope you have a great time next week at the gig.
Let us know how you liked it and.....go with an open mind (let the smoke fill it  )

Yeah I've read all the posts about smoke so as it's my first Sisters gig I won't expect to see too much but as long as I hear the songs and get a brief glimpse of :von: I'll be happy.

You'll hear and see enough in the fronts rows...

But to stick to the thread: Gimme, gimme, gimme won't be on the setlist...

Oh that is a shame. :innocent:

Are there any new covers to listen out for at the gig? I reckon :von: would do a great version of Reach by S Club 7.

Read the posts/reviews/setlists at the "Silver Bullet tour threads".

I'd say no....
