Oh, those Russians...

i've noticed a recent influx of fake registrations on heartland, all using random names and bogus "russian" email addresses
eg:

in the last few days there's been at least 25 of them.
i'll be deleting them soon and in the meantime i've decided to ban all *@mail.ru and *@bk.ru addresses.
my sincerest apologies to any genuine russian sisters fans affected by this, but i'm afraid i think its better safe than sorry.
on a slightly related note,
wishville seems have been down all evening due to some russian hacker finding an exploit in their bb software (dont panic, its a different system to HL!)

they seem to have done something thats granted them access to WV's user database - i received a spam email claiming to be from the forum:

I got the email too. The fact it said "we" instead of "I" gave it away. Unless Mik is a royal "we".
What the f**k is it with Russians of late. Had to throw a drunken one out of my studio on Saturday for harrassing my female customers.... that's my job.
