Has anyone done a survey of how many TSOM songs (Especially post-FALAA) have the chord progression Root, minor 3rd, 4th? And how many of those tracks have it as eigths or sixteenths, One bar for the root, one for the m3, and two for the 4th?
Has to be close to half, doesn't it?
Heresy I know... and it doesn't reduce my enjoyment of Crash and Burn... but it's amusing...
One, m3, 4

The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The root, the minor third
The fourth
Nothing ventured, nothing lost
Q: What makes a typical melodie, the typical style of a band?
A: probably it`s just what you mentioned..? Maybe?
