Profile of one of the most enigmatic, idiosyncratic and chaotic garage bands of the last 30 years. Led by the belligerent and poetic Mark E Smith, the Fall grew out of the fringe of the Manchester punk scene. Their career spans thirty years and three dozen albums, never conforming to fashion or musical trends.

Well worth watching for the onstage fight at brownies in 98.
Since this was first broadcast he's sacked his band and hired in a new one (all within one day) after pulling a corkscrew out on his bass player and emptying his ashtray on the van driver
Cant wait for the Manc gig next month.
