I tried looking at his website once..... I was drinking at the time as well, and by the gods did it do my head in! I seem to remember the "Illuminati" or whatever they were called... as in, Bush, Blair, the Queen, etc etc were all lizards - and that was the most easily digestible bit. On a more serious note, some Jewish groups thought that his stuff about the "lizard bloodlines" might have been some sort of code for "Jewish bloodlines"* and that Icke was a closet anti-semite. But they investigated him, and found that Icke genuinely appears to believe that various powerful family lines (notably the British Royal Family) are Lizards. In other words, OK he's a total whackjob, but at least he's not a racist whackjob.

* You know how it is; with these conspiracy theories, the centre of the conspiracy is almost always one (or more) of "The Jews", "The Freemasons" or "The Knights Templar".
