At the setting of the sun

Dear Heartland
I have decided the PIB shall retire from active involvement in heartland. It has not been an easy decision, but after long and deep discourse with dearest _emma_ I feel the correct one. his game is up.
it [heartland] is a hard habit to break, somewhat all consuming, and great fun, but now i wish to concentrate on ongoing family health problems and spend more time with my carer.
Though PIB was a sexist, misogynist dinosaur, a relic of the old days, let it be known he never copied from google, nor, though sometimes wrapped in
smoke and mirrors did he ever lie. maybe he and his humour will be missed by a handful, but somehow i doubt it.
and now he'll leave as he arrived

not much missed from my part. I hope for your family that you're in real life a lot more sympathetic.
But why PiB...

Oh paint it black or PiB as known here...
I heard that amazing song from the rolling stones on the radio today...
And actually thought of you.
It was a pleasure to have met you in Paris this year and you will indeed be that cryptic love of mine.
Take good care of yourself and your family and please just drop in now and then for an update of I'm still alive kinda thing!
I for one will miss those discovered waterfalls and weird cryptic tales but I really loved them and now it feels like a damn soap opera with good folk just stepping out.
DAMN YOU for that! But all the luck in the future PiB and Ez I will miss you...

Couldn't have put it better myself. This forum is like Royston Vasey and you knows it! Shall we still be seeing you at Winter In July? - I do hope so.
All the best for you and your family. (And thanks for being a Top Man when it was very much needed. I'm in your debt.
)

Okay everbody, take a look at the watch, we start counting for how long he can stand being without you.
Quiff, you once wrote "IPs have loose lips".
I guess you can tell whoose lurking around here, if you really want to?
I best wishes to you,
PIB, first of all concerning family health!

Sure you'll be back
Make sure to do as much of a good job - if not a better one - in real life as you did on here
