Right, am hastily throwing together my Class's 'surrealism' display. Background paper stapled (pins are for tweeds and twinsets) banner done, labels done, pictures mounted, sculptures presented YAY fer me but and here's the thing...

I've done some stuff about what the display is all about on a A4 landscape (in Word) gone into format and added a background coloury thing - it looks dead ace but when I print it all I get it just the printed words NOT the lovely brown and yellow (trust me it looks great) background. Laser printer is full of lasery ink, what's wrong, I seem to remember not getting the background fill sometime ago...when I do a print preview, it's just the text too :(

Is it just not do-able

It's doable, but Word is a right cnut when it feels like being awkward.

Mr Rise&Reverberate, can hold my koala for the rest of the afternoon.

:notworthy: :notworthy:

Forever in your debt, thank you.

p.s. I think perhaps the koala may need explaining, not a euphemism but an adorably cute fluffy thing that my kids earn the right to have, hold, love, chat to. Tingha is a huge hit here.........BUT Tingha's only for 'lendsies' let me get that straight I do worry when he's away from me :?

Woomerang, boomerang we sail along,
Merrily, merrily we sing our song,
Woomerang, boomerang, look over there,
It's Tinga and Tucka the two little bears.

It is hot isn't it.....

Reminds me of the time I wrote "you f--king liar" over and over again on an official reply to a colleagues deranged ranting.

In white text on a white background.

Printed out, up ya go!

Reminds me of the time I was dealing with a particularly obnoxious client who wanted some promotional cards printing, he gave me his photo (which he clearly loved - man was he vain...), I scanned it in, opened it in photoshop and enlarged it 1600% and proceeded to type all manner of vulgar "witicisms" over his face, and when it was reduced and printed out at normal size you couldn't tell. But the satisfaction of knowing the words were all over his smug dial.....

Way Kewl!

I have done none of the above because:
a). I'm far too professional
b). scared
c). I never thought of that

Dave, I'll rectify this tomorrow

and I just had the most amazing rush of deja vu I have ever had there
WTF is all that about?
