Sitting in your favourite recliner in your shorts and string vest, with a nice cocktail and a fag you reach across to the stereo and press play.

So what floats your boat in these long hot days of summer?
My favourite summer album is this little gem.....

What's yours?

According to my German class, Joy Division, Radiohead and The Cure are not Summer music...

So it'll have to be Black Wire, The Chameleons and my new found love, The Dresden Dolls :notworthy:

There's nothing I enjoy more on a warm summer evening than sitting in the garden listening to mellow sounds of the little twit next door blasting out some s**t that goes "dup bump dump ding" from his zillion watt car stereo in his 100 quid Vauxhall corsa.

IMHO the first one's definitely the best. :notworthy:
As for Chill Out - that's up there with the best of them.
(Nearly as good as the brilliant Nodens Ictus album Spacelines

I don’t know if it’s summer music, but, as well as The Doors, I enjoy lying in my garden, listening to my top four favourite albums: Station to Station, Raw Power, First and Last and Always, and Dog Man Star.

I would advise against sitting outside, around this time night, wine in hand and playing You Could Be The One by The Sisters Of Mercy, but only at this time of night. Today. Just now.

any other time's just fine and dandy Image

Not the whole album.
The track Hello earth is very much associated with summer nights. And the stars. 8)
