Only 45 people turned up on Friday at Milan's Civic Arena for a performance by the 51-year-old singer and songwriter. The venue has a capacity of 12,000.
Ouch!!! Poor old Geld-horse.
Maybe someone needs to take him aside, and tell him -
very carefully - "sorry Bob, I know you're a saint and all that, but, erm, your music's
CRAP".

Be thankful you got 45. They probably would have liked an intimate concert, where they'd feel closer to the band, rather than just a speck in a sea of bodies. But if you're going to cancel a whole country's tour because you didn't get thousands of fans at one gig, then think yourself lucky if you get over 45 fans next time.

Scotland Yard reported that they raided the Geldof house after an anonymous drugs tipoff. They found crack, cocaine, and heroin, but there was no sign of the other little girl.

Not so little any more. One of them (Peaches) is in the "celebrity" magazines every week falling out of nightclubs p!ssed off her face despite being only 16. Going the same way as her mum if Sir Bob isn't careful. Although to his credit...
Holy Moly wrote:At the O2 Wireless Festival two weeks ago, a mole spotted Peaches Geldof trying to blag extra passes for her screeching coven of friends. She was told politely that she'd already had four and wouldn't be issued with any more.
"I'm gonna get my dad!" she whined, and off she trotted to get the do-gooding Stig Of The Dump of arena rock. Bob asked what the problem was and was told that Peaches had been given four passes and would not be allowed any more if she was going to be giving them away willy-nilly.
Bob calmly listened and then said to Peaches: "Well, if the man says you can't have any more passes, that's all there is to it."
Exit Sir Bob, dragging the sulking Violet Elizabeth of rock aristocracy in his wake.

You forgot Tiger Lilly. I think this aticle sounds a bit too much like Uncyclopedia.
I heard that a couple of years ago a band (I´m not sure who, I believe it were Placebo) played for an audience of only seven people, as their managemnt made some mistake. Despite that, they gave a full show.
Sir Bob may have taken that as an example?

He played here in melbourne a few months ago. Apparently he made it very clear that he was quite upset at playing for only 300 something people, but 45?!
He should at least play dont like mondays. Thats probably what half of em are there for anyway
