i need to find a font that'll work on windows like this one.. i thought i had but it just won't work. can anyone help?

do you know what the font is called?

have a look on www.myfonts.com

the nearest match what the font has is Mason Serif Regular but the X is wrong

i found one called Dark Entry or something but it doesn't work..

hang on, its an emigre font

i have a stack of those at home - i might have it

its not exactly the same, but a lot of the characters are very similar... only really the X and T thats different

apparently the mac version is called Manson Alternate, it's an emigre one..

Emily, I looked up " in illusion. comfort lies there, you know" in my Michellin Big Road Map 2005 - and it turned up nothing, are you sure about that exact spelling of your location ? hmmmmm..
