Strange how things turn out for the good..
Next week off on a trip to Denmark, then get a call from my
mate Kim who is one of the guys I am meeting and last saw in
Istanbul a few months back.
Turns out Kim has a radio show and would I like to "sit in" -
of course I say...
Over the course of the weekend, me "sitting in" has now become
me playing 22 songs in the four hour show.
CA-Radio 90.4 mHz, (CA for Christiania), Copenhagen
11PM till 3AM local time. Thursday 10th August.
No live feed as far as I know, but will keep checking.

What are You Going To Play Young Man?
Can I suggest a wee ditty by Wayne/Jayne County
something along the lines of:
"If you don't wanna f**k me baby, baby f**k off"

I would not dare unless it got a rubber stamp of approval -
the lawyers would have a field day

If I fart in the bath tub and record it, will you play that?
Note to all the wee bands oot there, I am in no way suggesting that yoor music sounds like
a fart in a bath tub.
A fart in a bath tub however may
improve it....

I, for one have NO complaints about what Dave's gonna play!
Also courtesy of Blast Towers who got the ball rolling again, I guess
Such a shame there is no live feed on the Net, but you can record the stuff and make a Weed of it, mebbies?
All the best of luck to you, kind sir!

I'm going to start a trend of not asking, because I know that my music is
not radio-friendly, for reasons both technological and artistic.
But, pretty please, play some Foetus
Preferably In Excelsis Corruptus Deluxe. Or not. "I'll meet you in Poland baby" probably wouldn't go down too well in the current political climate

We're not radio-friendly either. That's why I asked.

The fact that both of you are neglecting is that audio requires a certain level of compression for radio play - and that's before it goes through the station's own compressors. Everyone wants to sound louder than everybody else, which will unfortunately cause most home-produced material to sound naff. Allegedly.

I use a certain level of compression in most songs.
None.

This is why I debated letting anyone know about this...because I do not want anyone to lose out- however,
I need to play fully mastered CD quality stuff if possible this time..
On the plus side - if this goes well, they are talking about a slot every 2 weeks, that however is a very big "if" at the moment.
For now, as the gorgeous pouting Mr Weebles said it is just a gas and a one off (unexpected) chance to have some fun.
It's only pop music folks..
Let me get the first one in and we will see...

I'm sure no-one will be at all arsed that you won't touch their unmastered material. It's a bit like crying that the Pope's not a Muslim, really
Make sure you post the setlist when you're done with a big
I'm not changing this for anyone sign at the top, so that we can have a look without any futile "But I wanted..." rants
