Back in the 70s, Jive Talking by the Brothers Gibb was one that would get me away from the bar to shuffle on a dancefloor with a person of the opposite sex.

I still love that song and Blue Weaver of Strawbs and Amen Corner fame played keyboards on it, so as far as me and my mates were concerned, it was cool.

They may not be our type of thing, but there's no denying they had some great pop tunes.......as did ABBA  , good pop music is like any other good music............it's good, it may not be to individuals taste, but do we all appreciate JAZZ, CLASSICAL or WORLD music...........no

It's nice to see a discussion about different musicals tastes, where there is playful banter but still a respect for other peoples taste in music. So with this feeling of new found freedom I would like to announce I have a Rick Wakeman Album.

Don't play it much, it's s**t :innocent:

So do I, I used to have three but it's just one now (and not the one you're thinking of). I do have two Strawbs albums he's on and many Yes, natch. Image
