I wrote that phrase (thank you, Monty Python :notworthy: ) on a birthday card, but in Hindi. I am so hoping that the receipient takes it to an Indian restaurant to get it translated. ;D

Might be going on a trip there sometime soon. Or Vienna.

Beautiful central/eastern European cities - THE part of the world to be in winter, methinks 8) .

Time for a bit of Ultravox... anyone?

Rage In Eden era, preferably. Gorgeus album. They were my favourites in my pre-Sisters Era.
Oh--Vienna? Yes, a marvelous city. Only the Horsepish smells a bit -well- like umm, horsepish..
I was at central Vienna in july (only for a few hours), and was impressed by this city. Bloody great! But it was hot and dry. And so was what the Fiakers left behind... :urff: :wink:

Get in!

Vienna's crap compared to Budapest.
Danube is a great focal point & the Buda hills are beautiful.

Try not to say Lófasz to anyone, as you might get a slap.

Typical greeting would be "Jó napot kivánok", or you could use the more informal "szia"

Please = kérek
Thankyou = köszönöm

and f**k off = bászd meg

I don't live in Budapest, but do live in Hungary.

Take some palinka back home with you.

My point made perfectly.

Fasz tudja mit jelent, de bisztos valami nem okos.

edit. I have just run Scotty's tirade through my English/Ecottish dictionary & I think it means "get awy & boil your head"

Or it could mean "I am a daft northern FUD" :wink:

Anyone help out here?[/quote]
