despite being a cut and paste jobbie...
Some of you may or may not know that my Mother passed away last Saturday.
Can I just say thank you so much for your kind messages, thoughts, texts, cards - it means such a lot.
Mother had been ill for a number of years(Diffuse Systemic Schleroderma (Freddie Garrity had a similar thing) ) and has enjoyed every minute of it - this may sound harsh but extremely true. She had been through a very distressing time at Christmas that resulted in myself having to make a decision which she hated - she pulled through and almost took on a new lease of life from about Feb to May, when a chest infection totally floored her and put her back both mentally and physically. Two weeks ago, she was struck down with a sickness thing and was taken into hospital where despite every effort they could find no infection or virus. She slowly became more and more dehydrated and they simply couldn't pump enough fluids into her because of her crap veins. Her body gave up the fight in the early hours of Saturday morning with both myself and my sister at her side. It was probably a blessing as she was really dreading wintertime as one of her many ailments was Reynaud's Phenomenon.
Those of you who know, understand the unique dynamics of my family and I shall be relying on you all very heavily in the months to come whilst myself and my sister sort out what needs sorting out.
With love and deep, deep gratitude
