Question: Posting to Poland from the UK

I've just done a trade with someone in Poland (not from this board) and while his parcel only took ~10 days to get to me, my parcel, posted 10 August, only arrived today. (25 days!)

Is this to be expected when sending to Poland? I've not sent stuff there before.

Usually things go in a week both ways for me...but this is of course Finland-Poland. But there are instances when packages take even more than two weeks, and this to countries closeby like UK or Belgium, there seems to be no system to figure this out by :)

i live in poland and i've got one time package from uk after 3-4 days
what a good trader it was
there's no rule with that, me think. sometimes package must go first to warsaw and they check out all the powder inside for a week or two in their laboratory and if you're lucky resend it to you finally.

Is that genuine? Funny people, you Poles

I think I've sent mail to Poland a couple of times (from Belgium obviously) but arrival depended on situations IIRC, as it does to everywhere. Only constant is most mail takes double the time to get here than it took to get there (there being everywhere outside Belgium)

Right, yes. Held in customs for ages, that would make sense.
