..........what the fcuk does this mean
?
I've got to fly from Aberdeen to Manchester tomorrow for a conference
and the dress code is "Smart/Casual" , so, just what is "Smart/Casual"?, I take it it's not Jeans, Trainers & a
GHOST DANCE T-Shirt
, the only jacket I have is a Black Denim one
,will I have to wear the dreaded "wedding shoes"
.
What is Smart/Casual?..........fcuked if I know!!

Usually means "smarter than jeans and t-shirt but more casual than a suit and tie".
Bit up-market for you then, Keith.

Guessed so as well, perhaps a jeans is just about possible, but with a shirt?
Dress codes are rubbish anyway, I usually end up being either over- or underdressed, not just about right

A mate (Jamie) took the term 'smart / casual' rather literally at Matt's wedding this summer...
top half - dinner jacket with bow tie
bottom half - beach shorts & sandals.
Any use Keith?
