Hello everybody,
I remember reading somewhere that Andrew recorded a couple of techno/dance albums and in some interview he almost confirmed it. Does anyone know the names of those albums?
And what about the singing for Utah Saints? Is anything released on record?

I've been trying to find out some more about this (
http://www.myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic. ... 36&forum=2) but the only info I've come up with so far is:
----------
- a Metal Hammer article from 1997:
http://www.fourth-floor.co.uk/revint/misc/mh1.htm
Depending upon which side of the high court you prefer to stand, Eldritch may (or may not) have also been found tinkering with the odd computer game soundtrack and, according to the man in black, Sisters fans may also hear "more familiar music" on two low-key releases through the band's own Mercyful Release label called 'Paris Riots' and 'The Leeds Underground'.
----------
- a Glasperlenspiel article:
http://www.gps.tsom.org/20thanniversary.html
Creatively The Sisters are far from spent - the 8 unreleased Sisters tracks and Leeds Underground material show Eldritch & co can still reach the peaks reached on Floodland and Vision Thing, yet there has been no (publicly released) album for the last half of the band's existence.
----------
- and something from German website Stormy Visions:
http://www.stormyvisions.de/sisters-story10.html
Translation of the relevant bit:
A further offering on Merciful release was an album of THE LEEDS UNDERGROUND, an ambient project of various musicians from Leeds, in which Andrew Eldritch was also artisticly involved. Further, Eldritch worked also on the music for several films - whether this was used or not is unknown.
----------
...and none of that's exactly concrete. So if anyone's got any more info I reckon it'd be appreciated

Dank vielmals! The "Paris riots" is a new name to me. After some searching on the net for "The Leeds underground" and "Paris riots" I've come up with... Nothing! I found some note about someone involved in "The Leeds underground" and that's it!
Our hero is apparently The Secret Boy of ompa-ompa, isn't he?

industrial meltdown looks like an album full of bad frontline assembly copyists...
the production credits are here:

maybe you can work out who did what? it all looks a bit jumbled, and the songs sound very much the same
the day industrial died? hmmm....

It's very nice remix. I listened to it in some music shop, but don't buy it. I'm a modem user, so my visits in Heartland isn't so frequently. And the language abyss............

I've never seen or heard anything (although heard of it a fair bit), but I did once see a flyer/sticker on street lamp for the Leeds Underground on the Otley Road in Leeds between the Fenton and Parkinson Buidling (those of us who were at university there might remember this building as being the site of one of the libraries). The flyer was so non-descript I can't remember what it said. Anyway, that was in about 1996, i.e. after the all the rumours began. Perhaps someone else was using the name.

A heavily remixed version (drums 'n' all) of one of the tracks from SSV was played over the PA just before the band went on stage at a few of the gigs on the 'Trip The Light Fantastic' tour in 2000. I can't remember which track it was though...

I like the SSV project
but then i like metal box, metal machine music and suicide and i really can't see much different to them in the SSV project.
give it more time it'll grow on you
