seems like a game to give interviews Heartlanders will not understand. I mean, how's your Turkish, sir?
I understand the word 1993... and we know what that means.

yes, it looks that first question is about new album, why they don't record something new. second about official site updates and download music from internet, third about "temple of love" in "gegen die wand", next about turkish writer orhan pamuk and the last is blah-blah "did you like our festival? yes? so come back quickly."

I'll enter a random house a bit further down the street or a Pita joint and ask if they'll translate perhaps

Very, very roughly:
You haven't released an album since 93, why?
Same old record company moans, would sign a record deal if we could find the right company. Some bands think there is a rule they have to release an album every year, we don't. We do the things we like to do.
You like computers but not the Internet?
Yes, the Internet is for loud stupid people, we like to make records for loud clever people.
Do you like Internet downloads?
Music insdutry is getting everything it deserves, Warner want to charge $1.00 and pay us $0.01 for each download. I don't think that's right and won't accept that but don't have enough money to take them to court.
What do you think of 'Duvara Karsi' using Temple Of Love, it was at the Berlin film festival?
Didn't know about it.
What do you think of Turkey?
Never been before, don't know much about it but like reading Fakat Ohran Pamuk'un (an author)
I don't like the gvt and how it's treating Fakat Ohran Pamuk'un, I think his books have translated well but can't compare them to the originals because I don't speak Turkish. I like his books 'Snow' and 'Black Book'
What do you think of Rock'n Coke?
It will be an interesting test.

all i know is that the name is Orhan Pamuk...
But hell jesus i really wonder how for Christ's Sake a booker reaches the Sissies if it can only be done by fax, telex or phone

Snow is a great book. I met Pamuk last weekend. He was grumpy. I was hung-over and dehydrated. We didn't talk.

Duvara Karsi is Gegen die Wand (logically thinking
and after having a look on IMDB
), can hardly imagine he wasn't aware, that's been given quite some coverage on here and on the other place, hasn't it?
And in German media as well, I presume...
Thanks for translating

Those would be hyperthetical records then. As opposed to those Black or Silver shiny discs with songs on them
