Might be kinda difficult to get hold of them, they're not known for simplicity of contact...

Just use them if it's urgent, if von doesn't like it, I'm sure you'll hear from his lawyers, although that's if he sees it.

Which logos are you trying to use?

If it's just the original head, it's out of copyright and perfectly acceptable. Maybe you could use that while waiting on rights to the others?

a guy raced the TT in 88 and 89 with the severed head logo on the bike, people thought it was cool. nobody complained

one of my boats had a severed head logo on the hull , a world championships in 88, i never got told off. just go for it.

*they're all hibernating again now anyway
