Might be kinda difficult to get hold of them, they're not known for simplicity of contact...

Just use them if it's urgent, if von doesn't like it, I'm sure you'll hear from his lawyers, although that's if he sees it.

Would rather do it with their permission............somebody must be able to phone a friend ?
Please ?

Dear balkan,
I do understand where you are coming from but it takes ages to reach the sisters' camp and a response on here won't help your urgency as it seems. What date exactly do you need to know by?
*please note that I can't help you in this matter whatsoever just have seen your urgency but if no response why not just take the chance?

Dear Balkan, you need it fast 'cause your motor is roaring already?
I'd say: better call the doktor's lab in California - that's near the chemist if you're from Volkswagen.
If you're just a crazy fan but unfortunately never heard of Heartland and wander by... just do it, kid.

I run a supermoto race team, our bikes are unique and i am constantly
looking for ideas to make them stand out.
I would like to use Sisters logos on one special bike,( Aprilia SXV), for
one special race (Mettet, Oct 15th Belgium), for one special rider, Michelle
DiSalvo (USA)
Michelle can ride, she is pretty and the motorcycle press will follow her.
Teams all over the world use obscure and unusual graphics.......the USA
Honda team has used Woody Woodpecker for years !
I feel the link to music is an opportunity that has been overlooked, and
respectfully ask if i could have your permission for the "Some girls wander by
mistake" circular Merciful Release type logo.
I would be happy to pay a fee.
Alice Racing was named after my daughter...........no prizes for guessing
why i named her Alice.

Balkan, to be honest, trying to contact TSOM via this forum is going to be about as successful as asking the same question on a Status Quo message board.
Your best bets are to either contact Gary Marx (if he can give permission to use the logo) or to post on the Dominion mailing list, which Eldritch reads.

Have posted it on Dominion.............how do i contact Gary please ?
Found his site, mail sent, thanks.
Any other possible contacts please ?

You could always contact the publishers of Gray's Anatomy instead. Probably a more straight forward course of action.

Thanks for your optimism.

Or even better, try
here. It should actually be out of copyright by now. A cursory glance didn't yield much, but it might be there.

A WHOIS-search tells us that the registrant of the official website is:
Overdog Recording Ltd
PO BOX 37
Frances House
Sir Wiliam Place
St Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 4BS
UK
Maybe a very long shot, but better than nothing no?
The further WHOIS-search gives technical support by a firm called CORPEX, but I fear that's too far already...
IZ.

Which logos are you trying to use?
If it's just the original head, it's out of copyright and perfectly acceptable. Maybe you could use that while waiting on rights to the others?

a guy raced the TT in 88 and 89 with the severed head logo on the bike, people thought it was cool. nobody complained
one of my boats had a severed head logo on the hull , a world championships in 88, i never got told off. just go for it.
*they're all hibernating again now anyway
