ISO image recording software plea

Anyone know of any good free software packages that will let me make an ISO image of a group of files? Can't burn the stuff (Microsft Security Updates) directly to CD as the files have extra information that can't be transfered. Zipping them up first rendered a number of them useless. Any help would be very welcome indeed!
