I've been asked to do a painting of James Hetfield but have no decent reference (I've tried google images) is anyone able to do a reasonably large scan from a book they might have of him in his long hair days performing on stage?

Probably just as well - there is nothing more up-chuckingly infuriating than watching a pampered rockstar disappear up his own jacksie.
