Laibach, London and a lovely lady

What more could you ask for in life!

The mighty 'bach :notworthy: are playing a gig at The Mean Fiddler in London on the 25th of November, and since it appears to be their only UK date for the tour of their new "Volk" album, I'd really like to go.

Unfortunately, everyone I might have gone with can't come with me that day, for one reason or the other. But I am really keen to go, they are one of my favourite "bands" and I've yet to see them in concert.

So, if anyone here is up for a Top Nacht Out in the Kapital, please let me know, either by replying to this thread or PMing me. And you will be my beshtest friend in the whole world forever and ever Amen ;D

I'm a Laibach fan, not a Communist :P

Though time was no-one could draw a distinction between the two.

hey i'd love to go....but i'm not a lovely lady either.

and i don't think my girlfriend would be too impressed either. AND interesting connection: one of her favourite albums is Jesus Christ Superstar...the original, not laibach :urff:

I think your legs are crap, and need shaving. Your choice in foot wear is also dubious. <no smiley>

Have you heard it yet? Surprisingly, I can buy Laibach out here, but anything new usually doesn't arrive for a while.

I look forward to your opinion. I'll also check HMV today "on the off-chance".

The HMV in Tsim Sha Tsui used to have a really good gothic bit upstairs (this was of course before Mr Chris Patton was told to fek off)

Yep, I can confirm that such a section upstairs is long gone.

Aye, he got through customs:
Anything to declare Mr Patton?
Yes, 200 fags and some real dodgy German Industrial Goth nonsense

HMV doesn't have Volk yet, but it does have Laibach - The Peel Sessions. Anybody heard this?

Ooh, the day after my birthday. I'm probably out clubbing later (Renaissance, my dance head) but may pop along to the Mean Fiddler first.... a decision nearer the time.

Thanks for the heads up on the gig!

Isn't Laibach an expensive sports car that Will Smith drones on about?
