Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

A sad day at work today... :|

Our old boss, more like the Don Corleone of the family company I work for, had a nasty fall with his bike on Saturday and slipped into a coma.

Today at work, the people from the office came and told us to go home, because they had to go to the hospital.

The Pater Familias' life (83yoa) is only extended by all the machines they plugged him into, and the family have to go and give a 'please do' on pulling the plug.

I hope I never have to make such decisions for MY friends or relatives...

Although I 'just' work for them, it makes me feel very sad to see the whole office in tears and upset, and see my personal 'boss', who is always kinda severe-looking, firm of words and, well, 'bossy', with red-rimmed eyes and stumbling for words.

No words are good enough of course. We even weren't paid for this week, and I don' even care about that. There are other things on their minds now.

All the strength to them. I have an early Halloween due to that, although it is a very bitter one. And I fear the happy Horror night tonight will be attended with a lot less joy as I had anticipated.... :|
