The Sisters Of Murphy - The Limelight Crewe Nov 19th

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Seeing that the Bunnymen's gig at Brum has been cancelled on the 18th it would be rude not to go to Crewe on the 19th. :innocent: :D

I just don't like cover / tribute bands. And i have a philosophy about this.

The bands i love the most have the WORST tribute acts. I don't care about a Kool & The Gang or Ace of Base tribute band, but a sisters cover band is the wrongest thing in my nightmare.

Aye. It does shatter the illusion somewhat when the tribute band can get better sound quality and still pull off Body Electric :innocent:

Mine was my Uncle dressed in drag, carrying a handbag that looked like a vacuum cleaner. :? :? :?

Obviously The Smurphs will have been brilliant as usual last night but any reviews etc of the gig anyway?

hmmm yes. the new smurphs look, crewe must be a smokeless zone

interesting experience not having to peer through the smoke for a sight of our heroes but didn't put the boys and girl off one bit
