across an old recording of Ghost Dance in 1985 (2nd ever gig) where they do Poison door as well as she cries alone by the Skeletal family .
I had completely forgot that I had this :)

Quiff boy - i`ll include a copy with the other stuff I`m sending :)

I`ve also just found ~ a recording of Husseys` old band the walkie talkies - 2 tracks from 1979 - oh dear !!!! /
and the dance goes on - solo 1981 /
the expelaires single - Craig Adams on keyboards .
as well as some other stuff .
I`m going to try to make a couple of cds up of all the old odd tracks here and there . Maybe one Sisters & one Huss/mish .....I know which one I`d rather listen to :)

...the Huss/Mish stuff, surely??? :D :D :D ;D ;D

I remember seeing a copy of the Expelaires single in 'Bad' in Leeds in about '88, but it was too damn expensive for me...what do they sound like, and the walkie talkies too??

You seem to have as many things as you have knowledge; it's quite impressive. I imagine much this is more interesting as background than as music in it's own right?

you should catalog this stuff, as an aside, I'm confidant it's worth a-lot of money.

Jeez you guys replied quick :D

Most of the stuff is decent quality but it is not really musically that amazing as you can imagine .
The walkie talkies sound like a specials/selector type ska band .
The expelaires are a sort of post punk wannabe band
The dance goes on solo version is from a compilation album in 1981 called a trip to the dentist - same whiny voice , less music .
I dare say some of you will have heard the "spirits" track from a sisters soundcheck - Guilford 84 . It`s just a jam really but it ended up becoming "where spirits fly" by Ghost dance .
Most of this sort of stuff is interesting to have but I don`t think many would want to listen to much of it over & over again .
The thing is that a lot of my old stuff from the 80s has been in storage boxes for over 10 years so now that I`m finding it all again it`s like getting it for the 1st time all over again :)
I`m currently trying to get as much as possible transferred over to cd to keep it safe . Once I`ve done it I`ll be happy to let anyone have a copy that wants one .
I don`t want to seem like I`m bragging when I say I have stuff - it`s just that I get quite excited when I find something & when I tell my woman about it she does listen but then her mind wanders off after a couple of minutes

It's a good job were here.

Obviously, some of us are intrigued to hear these "rarities"; but returning the favour would be difficult. If you have the inclination, and too much HDD space, you could share them on Kazaa (which is sadly beyond the capability of my 16MB PC,) or some such service?

I`m afraid I`m not too up on the whole music/net thing . I only use a poxy little laptop & that is now screaming at me that I`m running out of space .
To do the cds I actually use a Marantz stand alone cd recorder that goes through the stereo system as opposed to the computer .I`ve found that you get really good results with it but obviously I can only copy music/audio stuff .

As I said I`ll be quite happy to copy any of it for anyone interested .I just need a little time to put it all together in one place .
The way I see it is the more people hear Huss sounding like that the better :D
