I've seen them once-ish*... they ended in some turbo noises, there was an inflatable banana and then the words "G'night Glasgow".

And I paid £2.50 fur that!?

* In mitigation, Yer O'nner, me and Wee Anni and some flat-tops were in Hurricane's, getting oot 'o it, beforehand.

*prepares for hail of gunfire/fully ignited flamethrower fuel*

Am I the only one that thought ASF were a bit rubbish? Don't get me wrong, I could shout along to Now I'm feeling Zombified and Here Cum Germs. I will even carve out a path n the dance floor for 'I walk the line' but I found the bulk of their material to be a bit forgetable.

Is my coat on the hook?

I agree they made allot of "forgettable" stuff. but I just like the bands attitude.
and they did make some pearls.
Can’t wait to finally see them perform live.

I saw an ace ASF gig once.First thing Old Nick does is stage dive into the crowd.Trouble is the crowd move and Nick lands on his head, out for the count.Gig end.
Saw them a few times though in mid 80's,they were tremendous in those days and mad as badgers."R.I.P(Blue crumb truck)" is one of my favourite tunes.
Saw them a couple of years ago in a certain northern seaside place and they were a bit pants.Started and ended well enough but the middle bit(including 20 odd mins of Zombified) was tedious to say the least.
But how can anyone not like a band who do a tune called Drive my rocket(Up Uranus)?
