Heartland

So, now with the re issue I was wondering about a remark Eldritch made ( I cannot find it but Im sure it was during one of those Floodland interviews) where he claimed they had finished Floodland with a different producer, ready mixed to go but he found it too commercial so deleted it and re recorded it into the Floodland we know.

Now taking into account the Demo's we already knew and now Never Land (Whole) is this another one of Eldritch's myths? Has these been covered before, if so sorry. I've always tried to get my head round a different Floodland, but all the demo's we know all sound kinda close to the released versions. SO is there somewhere more demo's we never heard? Driven like the snow completely different?

Same with Vision Thing, there are supposed to be 6 different versions of each song, depending on who you talk to.

Anyone know more on this? I mean Good Things was never really released but is still a stonking song. (what is the story behind that?) So many riddles..

I have an interview, where he talks about working with a producer called Andy Hill,but the record company wasn't keen or spending the money hiring a choir with him at the helm so Eldritch "sacked him". It's on one of those interview picture discs from Baktabak.

If it's a boot I could transfer it and weed it,but I'm pretty sure I bought it out of someplace like HMV.

I think I've mentioned this before.. it's not officially a "Sisters release", but Baktabak weren't infringing any copyright by putting the disc out. There was nothing to stop people putting out interviews, as they weren't considered music, and thus weren't covered by the same restrictions, hence Baktabak being totally above-the-counter.
Still not official in terms of an "official Sisters release", but it's an official release, with the Sisters on, so it's pretty much the same
