Just seen a report about Second Life on the News ...........................'mon then..........own up............who's on it?

Never even heard of it till now. Doesn't sound too appealing.

You can buy (with real money) property from other people on there!!!

& now I can't stop reading about it... what have you done to me!

It's been in the news for a bit around here as well

Have to admit I had a peek afterwards, but nothing to do on there, not when you've got Heartland indeed

(and my computer is probably way too slow anyway )

tried it a while back - created a character and then realised everything was just way too slow on my poor PC so gave it up.

I searched to see if crimes can be committed in this thing & it looks like they can! One woman called the (real) police as a user swindled her for $190 on Second Life. I've read articles saying people have been bullied & forced to become sex slaves in it too. Bizarre but funny.

Not sure if you can actually kill people on it however.

It's not that bad out there, you know. Bit cold, I'll grant you that.

I occassionally dabble in it, more of a psychological experiment really..

Great thing is, you can be whatever you want and people have literally NO idea what you are actually like.. proper bo headf*ck.. proper..

& after saying "My God that's scary" in a post above... I might have a dabble now just to see what its all about.

That convert-Linden-Dollars-option sound charmingly in my ears.. I could do with a buck or two.
